Role Overview :

This is an opportunity to be a Principal or Senior Medical Writer, guiding our AI Architects, Data Scientists, and Engineers towards medical writer needs, evaluating and improving output quality, and being the voice of the customers internally.

Required Qualifications :

• Remote position with occasional (10-20%) travel to client sites and conferences.
• Ph.D. in life sciences or related discipline with 7+ years of equivalent work experience in academia or industry, including 4+ years of medical writing experience.
• 15+ publications written as the primary author or medical writer.
• Strong ability to accurately interpret statistical findings.
• 5+ years of experience in fact-checking references, statistical interpretation, and consistency.
• Experience writing in accordance with the AMA Manual of Style.
• 10+ years of experience using PubMed and Endnote (or equivalent).
• Complete/native fluency in English.
• Thorough understanding of the US healthcare landscape.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Strong oral and written communication skills, including presenting to executives.
• Familiarity with IT or AI applications in medical science or medical writing.
• Experience applying technical or scientific expertise to solve complex challenges.

Responsibilities :

• Fact-check AI-generated documents for accuracy, reference validation, and adherence to AMA style.
• Assist in training AI systems and enriching the database.
• Collaborate with IT/AI teams to align product development with medical writer needs.
• Suggest improvements to AI-generated documents for enhanced quality and accuracy.
• Support subject matter experts (SMEs) in one or more therapeutic areas.
